Our core range of screws has a diameter from 3 up to 12 mm and a length from 20 up to 600 mm. In special cases, we are able to produce screws with a length up to 3000 mm.
Bimetal: A Fusion of Two Steel Varieties
Bimetal refers to a unique engineering concept wherein the drill tip and the initial threads have undergone a specialized heat treatment process to optimize their drilling performance. These components are crafted from hardened carbon steel. The remaining sections of the screw, including the head, are constructed using stainless A2 steel, renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosion. Through the application of highly efficient friction welding techniques, the hardened carbon steel and stainless A2 steel seamlessly merge to form a single integrated component, constituting the screw’s body. This amalgamation capitalizes on the superior attributes of each steel type.
